Here are the Spanish and English permission slips and parent letters for our upcoming field trip to International Towne. We would like to have the permission slips and money in by Tuesday, May 5th. Today we watched a Brain Pop on geography concepts and then took the quiz afterwards. The username of Brain Pop is summitmid and the password is Pop1.
We then started to read about the European Alps, which you can access here. While reading be thinking about the questions:
1. Where are the Alps? Describe their location using directions (north, south, east and west), continents, bordering countries or bodies of water.

Today we'll continue working on the fictional primary source document for our WWs assessment. A link is on the previous post with all the info on the assessment.

Today we'll continue to study WWI. We'll review what we've already learned by going over this slide show. We'll then watch a short documentary on the single act that started the chain of events that resulted in WWI: the assassination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand. Today, Thursday and Friday we'll be working on our NHD projects in class. Please bring any materials needed to work on it. Technology will be available for websites, but printing pictures, etc. for exhibits will be limited and no color printers are available. I was very impressed with everyone's project and work ethic today so let's keep it up!
